IT Firewall Administrator

The Project Services department is responsible for delivering a wide range of IT infrastructure projects for the Health Authorities of British Columbia.

Scope of Services:
– Implement / change firewall, proxy and IDS/IPS rules
– Work with customers / vendors to troubleshoot project related firewall, proxy and IDS/IPS issues
– Update project / operational documentation and progress production change requests as required for firewall and zoning related activities
– Provide, on an on-demand basis, the same services during regular working hours when activated through the on-call process
– Hours may vary from week to week based on project requirements and operational needs
– Position will require occasional after hours, overnight, weekend, and statutory holiday work to support planned maintenance activities, system upgrades, migrations, and other project related activities
